Green Faisalabad Movement

We believe the up gradation of the quality of life in urban areas is one of the challenges that are imposed in cities, particularly after the enormous development that these areas have been suffering in last decades.
The urban green areas, due to the function and the role they play in cities, are fundamental elements, inductors of quality of life.
When the cities get organized in system like the urban green structure this value is potentiated and incremented, contributing more efficiently to quality of life.
Though not much effort have been made in our society to understand the importance of the subject at large but White Rose School System appreciates the efforts made by District Government Faislabad’s efforts to launch the movement called “green Faisalabad”.

White Rose School System took this campaign as challenge and try to contribute in this social cause as much as it can.
White Rose School students planted trees at different places including their houses and specially on Raja Road Gulistan Colony’s Green Belt which looks beautiful now used to give a barren look.
This campaign goes on White Rose School System arranged an inter school painting competition in all branches on the subject “Green Faisalabad”. And ask the students to paint ideas how we can make our city green?.
The winning paintings were awarded and were promoted to use as title for the note book and other stationery items.
White Rose School System pleads to general public and its students in particular not to stop this movement and make their city lush green and save the environment from pollution.
Save the world, country and your city in particular for yourself and specially the generations to come.
