Admissions Policy

WRSS has developed a strict policy for the admissions based on the principles of transparency and fairness, for this purpose the School’s admission committee collectively reviews cases and selects students. Without discrimination, WRSS welcomes girls and boys from all communities and religions, with only merit as the sole criterion for admission. Admission tests are conducted time of admission. Age limit for candidates for Pre-Nursery is 2¼ years to 2¾ years and for Nursery is 3 years to 3½ years and 4 years in some cases. Admissions in high classes are strict against a very few seats available in different campuses.

The required documents for the admission process are:

1. Parents’ CNIC copy
2. Applicant’s copy of birth certificate
3. Applicant’s copy of Form B

Note: Birth certificate and “B” form issued during the past 6 months are acceptable.

4. Registration fee
5. Parents’ Business Card.
6. Parents’ Bio-Data

7. Parents are required to inform in charge admission if the child is suffering from any disease , Allergy , disability or any special care need to be taken .

8. If the child is under any medication have to provide consultant doctor’s contact number in case of any Emergency.

Note: Photograph will be taken at the time of admission by admission in charge at the same time.

Evaluation is conducted on the basis of testing the children and interviewing the parents. The proportion of given to the test and the interview as follows:

In Class Pre-Nursery
Interview: 80%
Test: 20%

In Class Nursery
Interview : 25%
Test : 75%
Prospective candidates will be informed at the same time. All decisions regarding the selection of students is made by a panel and are considered final.

Admission Procedure (Pre-Nursery and Nursery)

Registration for new admissions continues for three days. The dates for registration are announced early in January every year and are displayed on the WRSS website. Parents may register their child on line fro which on line registration form is available on web site. The on line registered students will be called for interview and test through sms or phone call. The parents attending the children are seated in the designated waiting area. Parents can come for visit, information and test in person during school hours as well. They can arrange the test at right time if possible and process the admission at site. If admission is allowed then they proceed to the data entry room for registration. The room is equipped with workstations dedicated for entering the credentials of the candidates and their parents into a central database by using a custom-built online software system, while admit cards are printed and issued to the parents.
After the data entry, the parents are given a printed form to review the data and sign it. The form is submitted along with the required documents at the clearance counter. The counter will take photograph of the student and after delivering all the related material and books in case of kindergarten, after receiving all the dues , a receipt will be issued.

Admissions for Higher Classes VI to X):

Admissions for higher classes open on the basis of the availability of seats in each class and therefore admissions for higher classes open at the end (February /March) of the School session. The required documents for the admission process are:

1. Parents’ CNIC copy
2. Applicant’s Copy of birth certificate
3. Applicant’s Copy of Form “B”
4. Registration fee
5. Parents’ Business Card.
6. Parents’ Bio-Data.
7. Last Progress Report’s.
8. Transfer Certificate at the time of Admission in case of IX class admission.

The admission procedure for higher classes remains the same as for Pre-Nursery and Nursery Classes.

Terms and Conditions:

1. The decisions of Admissions Committee.
2. Parents must ensure that they will bring all the necessary documents with them.
3. The School reserves the rights of admission. Any person being rude, obstreperous or attempting to bribe the staff will immediately be evicted from the School premises, and their child struck off from the school.
4. Parents must comply with the rules and regulations of the School.
5. The School reserves the right to check the person and personnel affects of all those allowed into the School premises for security reasons.
6. The admission fee charge is nonrefundable.
7. The School is not responsible for the loss of any personal affects.
8. It is advisable for only one parent to come per applicant.
9. Children brought to the School during the admissions process is the responsibility of the parents.
